Employee Benefits Wellness Coordinator

Elyse is Shelby County Government's Employee Benefits Wellness Coordinator. She works in the Human Resources department on the 4th floor Wellness Center of 160 N. Main. Elyse has worked for the County for about 3 years and has a diverse background in health. She has worked as a personal trainer, strength coach, director of fitness, corporate wellness programmer, and as a health coordinator. Her role as Wellness Coordinator at the County is to develop and organize health and fitness education programs along with developing Shelby County's Total Health Wellness Program. She also serves as the Chair of the Total Health Wellness Committee. Elyse takes her health very seriously and in her spare time competes in powerlifting as a professional level lifter.
